(not in photos). We are on the quiet side of the lake only about 170 yards to an island perfect to play on. We average 70% repeat renters each summer and lots of good comments. We have a newer Weber grill and we are only a short walk to a public park. A great place to build family memories. This cottage built in 2000 with optional 19 foot pontoon boat (included in prime summer weeks and only available through September) is available at a reasonable weekly rate (other weeks) is sure to make a memorable vacation. Every year we have very good comments that it is clean upon arrival and how nice it is. Horse shoes (shared with neighboring property) and a fire pit are other features we failed to mention. Muskegon, with its proximity to Lake Michigan, is not as hot as many areas of West Michigan. 4 of the 5 beds were bought new in 2005 or after. That’s right. We have a genuine LOG CABIN overlooking White Lake awaiting your enjoyment as you escape from the daily hub-bub. This authentic log cabin has two bedrooms with sleeping space for four--that’s correct, two double beds. Use the sofa or bring an air mattress, you may accommodate five. Each bed comes fully equipped with a blanket, bedspread and pillow; all the bedding you will need to bring from home is your sheets and towels. Then, paper goods are your responsibility too.

Then, if you hire a charter boat, you can catch big-game fish in Lake Michigan, accessible through an Army Corp of Engineers-maintained channel. No matter what type of boating is your bag, there's plenty of room for it all on 6 x 1 1/2 mile long White Lake, power boating, sail-boating, personal watercraft, pontooning and other water sports skiing and tubing--you choose!  You will have a private cabin with full kitchen, large living space, three bedrooms, and a full bathroom. Outside the cabin you have a private grill, lawn chairs, and picnic table. If not exploring the outdoors, you can spend your days shopping Over looking White Lake, the living area provides great views and a cozy fireplace. Included is a TV with YouTubeTV, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+. With fast Wi-Fi and comfy chairs this can serve as a relaxing getaway or a remote work location. We are nearby and available for any of your needs 24/7. We provide a list of board games and many other activities or puzzles for our guests. Tucked away in a lovely neighborhood and under the cover of our wooded bluff this beautiful spot will feel like an escape while still being close to many activities in the area including, Michigan Adventures (6.4 miles away), Duck Lake Park Trails (5.3 miles) , White River Light Station Museum (4.8 miles), and multiple shops and store in both Whitehall and Montague (2.0 miles). Located 2 miles south of Whitehall, MI along White Lake, is our great location. Within half a mile is an access to the White Lake Pathway which leads you into Whitehall and Montague. A change of directions and you can follow the lake to the White River Lighthouse Museum and the pier to catch a beautiful sunrise or breathtaking sunset.

That’s right. We have a genuine LOG CABIN waiting for you to enjoy your escape from your daily hub-bub. This authentic log cabin has three bedrooms with sleeping space for eight-that’s correct, three double beds and a set of bunk beds. Use the sofa or bring an air mattress, you may accommodate nine. Each bed comes fully equipped with a blanket, bedspread and pillow; all the bedding you will need to bring from home is your sheets and towels. Then, paper goods are your responsibility too. When dinner- time rolls around, you will find your kitchen equipped with a double-door refrigerator, gas stove, pots-and-pans, dishes, and silverware. Of course, your plumbing is indoors with a shower stall, sink and stool. The cabin has open-beam ceiling and is heated with a real wood-burning fireplace. Naturally, since you are escaping, we will do the work and provide you with firewood both for your cabin as well as the fire pits you will find both in the recreation area and at the shoreline. Did I say “shoreline”? That is where the” Two if by Sea” comes in. Your cabin sits on a wooded bluff overlooking White Lake, which is 1.5 miles wide and 6 miles long. It is the tributary of the White River with a navigable channel into Lake Michigan. Speaking of White Lake, we have 150 feet of private frontage and provide rowboats, oars and life jackets for your use . You do have to walk about 100 feet down a single-lane blacktop and cross a two-lane to utilize our lakefront property. While you are at the Lake, feel free to utilize the fire pit while you are swimming or fishing. Be sure to take your camera to record the activities you most enjoy. A highlight occurs daily at sundown when a spectacular sunset brightens the western sky over White Lake. In addition to the Lake and its spectacular sunset, you will find a variety of activities in our recreation area. There are horse-shoes to pitch, volleyball and badminton birdies to hit as well as an old favorite, tetherball. For our younger guests, there is a swing set and sandbox to exercise their creativity. All that activity makes me tired and want to do nothing but relax. The funniest thing is that relaxing is one of the prime things to do at Glaser’s Glenn. To sit in the shade of our big, aged oak and beech trees and read or nap or listen to nature are my favorite activities.. So, we invite you to come and stay with us for a few days, a week, a month or the season. If you choose not to stay, please tell us the reason. We have even decided to initiate our “Take-Me-Too” Pet Surcharge to allow Fido to travel with you. The charge is only $15.00 per pet per night, tax-free.
